Global Stage Hollywood is extremely proud to announce our closing film of GSH 2023, "The Wind and the Reckoning". As an outbreak of leprosy engulfs 19th-century Hawai'i, a small group of infected Native Hawaiians resist government-mandated exile. It is the first Hawaiian feature film largely spoken in ‘Olelo (Hawaiian language). "The Wind and the Reckoning" has received many awards including "Best Made in Hawaii Film" at the 2022 Hawaii International Film Festival.
