Cinema Sabaya won Best Picture Award and Audience Award at the Jerusalem International Film Festival, as well as Best Picture at the Ophir Awards, the prizes of the Israeli Academy of Film and Television and is Israel's official submission for Best International Feature for the 95th Academy Awards. It received five awards in all-As well as its Best Picture Prize, it also won Best Director for Rotem, and BestSupporting Actress for Joanna Said.
