) objects are removed from burial sites, bad things happen. Steve Joe, a traditional archeologist for the Moquahat people, believes that his misfortune, and the bad luck of his community, are a result of the displacement of sacred artifacts now locked up behind a sophisticated security system in a local museum. Steve and a group of misfits from his Rez break into the museum and reclaim the sacred artifacts that rightfully belong to their people.
The Great Salish Heist features Graham Greene, Academy Award Nominee and Member of the Order of Canada, Tricia Helfer, Darrel Dennis, and Ashley Callingbull in this Canadian Film produced by Cowichan Filmmaker Harold C. Joe and Leslie Bland. Cast will attend our red carpet and panel at the World Famous TCL Chinese Theatre on Sunday, Nov 3rd.
